Memories

Going through some old photos the other day, I came across one from a long (unusually hot) summer when the garden at Gibraltar Crescent was a cricket pitch and the summer holidays for the boys, their cousins and a couple of neighbour's children were one big test match! (How many times did the ball get lost on the railway line?) It reminded me of going to the park after tea and having porridge for supper! The best days are usually the ones that don't cost you anything!
